 19th CenturyBarons of Aszod

Baron Frigyes was born in 1824. He was a Member of Parliament 1843/44. In 1845 he attended the University in Berlin. After Military Service in Italy and Austria he retired to Aszod in 1853 to devote his time to literary endeavors.  He wrote over 15 books and also one on his experiences including his Family History of which this collection is a distillate.

Baron Armin was born in 1825 and died in 1886. He occupied himself with the running of his estate in Aszod. Armin married twice, the first time to Countess Emma Keglevich. This marriage produced nine children: Elemer, Bela, Gyula , Endre, and Pal. Further children not named. Second marriage to Etelka Egyessy. 

Gyula was born October 1855 and married Zsofia Podmaniczky a very distant cousin. Their children were Elma, Tibor, born 25 September 1884 in Aszod and died 1960, and Ilona (Ellen) born 1896 and died in Denver 1981.
